How to rebrand a regionally rooted craft beer brand in a cool, modern way while staying authentic? How can this identity be consistently applied across product ranges?
Rima Brewery is based in Rio Maior, a city long known for its traditional salt production. The project began with a redesign of the old logo, giving it new life and relevance. The new mark blends Rio Maior’s iconic salt pyramids with a hop flower — a simple yet striking fusion that brings a fresh, contemporary edge to the brand.
Previously, the brewery’s labels featured collage-based artwork. To maintain that visual DNA, the collage style was refined and modernised, resulting in vibrant digital illustrations that now define the brand’s packaging and communication.
This approach gives Rima Brewery a bold and flexible visual language — one that’s rich in texture, full of personality, and adaptable across all product ranges and touchpoints.
